Gage FaroArm

FARO has spent more than 30 years bringing excellence into the marketplace. Through our wide array of products, and the innovations that have come with them, the 3D imaging landscape has been changed forever. FARO’s portfolio of portable coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) includes measuring arms, laser trackers, 3D laser scanners, and 3D imagers. These portable CMMs can be used for both contact and non-contact measurement.

The all-new FARO® Gage is the most affordable and most accurate FaroArm ever produced. The Gage portable Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) allows for confident 3D measurements across a wide range of machine shop and industrial applications. Perfectly suited for small size, high-accuracy tasks, the Gage is an extremely intuitive, ergonomic, and versatile 3D measurement tool. The Gage is able to improve upon and replace multiple hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges by delivering added convenience, speed, and ease of use.

Reliance on hard-to-use and expensive fixed CMMs is greatly reduced, thanks to best-in-class performance for hard probing applications. The Gage eliminates inspection bottlenecks, improves upon conventional measurement instruments, and virtually eliminates operator variability.

The FARO Gage portable CMM sets a new industry benchmark in compact performance and affordability, enabling machine shops to meet their most demanding quality specifications. The Gage allows businesses to reduce inspection time, effort, and clutter from traditional hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. The collected data is stored directly on a computer and compared against the nominal CAD data.

The Gage is a CMM meant for the shop floor and production line. Designed with the precision of a lab instrument and the ruggedness of a shop floor device, the Gage sets up in seconds, reduces inspection time, and delivers precision measurements with exceptional flexibility, thus delivering increased throughput and productivity.
